I made this little inverted front pleat thin strap tank top from Simplicity 1615 easy to sew pattern. I agree, it was an easy sew, but it has major sizing problems. I put this project aside for a couple of months before picking it up and finishing it because when I was nearly finished with it, I tried it on and it was HUGE on me. The armholes, the neckline, everything was far too large and gaping on me. I had to take in the side seams and armhole binding quite a bit in order to make it even wearable. I plan to wear this with a tube top or strapless bra under this to avoid too much skin showing. I made this top in size 12, but if I make it again, I will make a size 8 instead. Otherwise, I love this style top and look forward to wearing it.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
