Description

This is my first version of the Sallie Jumpsuit by Closet Case Files and there are going to be many more! I was worried it would feel a bit too like pyjamas too wear out but it feels super chic and I have been wearing it all summer long. I used John Kaldor Ritual jersey from Sew Essential and would very much recommend it for this pattern. It has the perfect drape without being clingy and has a gorgeous smooth hand which is nice against the skin. The combination of a good fabric choice and the fab construction techniques included in the instructions mean I feel as good in this at the end of the day as at the start. Full details of what went into making it are on my blog here https://chainstitcher.blogspot.co.uk/2016/08/navy-sallie-romper-and-giveaway-winner.html

Thank you. I thought my fabric choice might be a little boring but I’ve had so much wear out of it I’m glad I went with a solid

Very nice romper, Ive been wanting one all summer but I haven’t been able to find the right fabric in Barcelona, maybe its time to purchase online, great tips in your blog by the way, I love reading it. You made a great choice with the pattern and it looks great on you.

Thank you! I’m glad to hear that you enjoy my blog, I hope I don’t waffle on too much!
I usually find it difficult to purchase fabric online but actually for knits it’s great as you can see all the stretch percentages and fabric content. It’s a cracking pattern so well worth a go!
