Description

This is the dress I made for the opera. I love this pattern. It is such a versatile style for me. Depending on the fabric it can be for evening or everyday.

Again, I stitched the side seams first, then waist seam from front pleat to back dart, and then across the front and let the pleats and dart form themselves. I think I will do that from now on. I am so happy with the fit. The side seams fall straight and there is no pulling across the front.

Material Notes

Navy polyester with a metallic thread that makes the fabric glisten in certain light.
