This is from the Cynthia Rowley line by Simplicity 2443. Again, I made it one size smaller and slightly shorter, and skipped the lower pockets because they were too much work. In hindsight, I wish I only used the lower pockets with the flaps rather than the upper pockets, but now I’m too lazy to change it. I also modified the button part and used clasps instead of the ribbon ties.
This is a great little jacket to wear casually with shorts or a cute dress. The only thing I would change with this pattern is the ties on the sleeves. The ties are a bit long, as you can clearly see in the photo, I would definitely cut it shorter by at least one inch.
Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
