Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this from old bedsheets and some bias tape. I really like the Port Elizabeth Top neck and shoulder line and wanted to make a dress out of it. I added some ruffle at the hem to take away the pj’s-feel it had developed during the process.

I did widen it a little bit and on the “Polka dot port elizabeth dress” i widened it even more. Something in between would have been great :)

Sjukt snyggt! Älskar skeppsmönstret och färgkombinationen, dessutom snyggt matchat med röda strumpbyxor. Det lilla skärpet blir pricken över i : )
Bra idé att göra en klänning av Port Elisabeth- mönstret, kanske något jag också bör testa framöver, just nu har jag för många idéer och för lite tid känns det som.
Visst är det nice när man kan återanvända saker man har hemma? Jag brukar också göra det lite då och då mitt nästa projekt involverat till exempel rester av en gammal gardin. Så länge sakerna inte är blekta och i bra kvalité så blir påslakan och gardiner minst lika bra som köpta tyger tycker jag, vilket din klänning är ett lysande exempel på : )

Tack snälla du! Ja, skärpet behövdes. Först hade jag tänkt att det skulle vara utan men jag gjorde den inte tillräckligt klockad för att det skulle bli den där fina formen. Älskar Port Elizabeth, kommer göra fler grejer utifrån det mönstret!
Jag blir ruinerad på att köpa nya tyger, när jag började sy hade jag ingen aning om att det är så dyrt! Har köpt en del på nätet för överkomliga pengar men man vill ju gå runt och botanisera och känna också!
Från och med nu kommer jag se på alla textilier hemma som potentiella klänningar och kjolar ;)

Gör! Världens enklaste och snabbaste! Jag har gjort både den här och den blommiga i storlek 10 och den sitter som en smäck runt armhålen. Och då är jag typ en 36a i överdelen, ganska platt sådan.
