While browsing around on this website I found a beatiful skirt pattern called Kasia. It looked a little bit more difficult than the other clothes I normally make and I wanted to take the challange. Also I was a little jealous when I saw the other members projects.
I wanted to give the skirt a bit more of a nautical look since I live in Hamburg and it just fits so well as you can see on the pictures. Also the skirt was a birthday present for a friend and she lives right at the baltic sea, so that fits too. The skirt didn´t quite fit at the beginning and I had to take it in here and there but in the end everything turned out just perfectly. I sewed bias tape on the pockets and made anchor buttons myself.

Super cute! I like the color and the bias tape edges. I am sure your friend will be very happy to receive it as a gift. Thank you SO MUCH for posting your photos! I am also in the process of sewing this skirt. I love the look so much, but have a hard time following their instruction. Thank goodness that one of your photos showing the zipper really helps me to understand which piece goes where. THANK YOU!!!!! <3

Thats great that I could help! I had problems with this skirt too! I was more or less guessing what to do and I had mayor problems with the sizing. Well, in the end all turned out well! :D Good luck with your skirt!

Thank you Juleken! I just finished my Kaisa skirt last night!….yes, finally! Your pictures definitely helped me with that one step that I got stuck on. I had to pick my stitches a few times to get it right also. But you are so right, at the end, it turns out to be fine. I will post some pictures soon. Thanks again! :)
