I used ElaineMay’s coffee date dress pattern for this, and the only changes that I made were these three: I put an invisible zipper along the risht side seam instead of up the back. I used bias tape to finish the arm and neck openings instead of using the lining pieces. And I made a long sash belt to tie around my wait. I really love this dress and I’ll make another soon, for a friend’s wedding!
Blue and white nautical theme cotton print fabric that I bought at a vintage/antique mall.

This is really cute, and would look great with a red sash to go with the whole nautical theme. Red will also mean you’ll be able to see the sash more, and you’ll stand out in a crowd .
Looks great though.
