The top can be made in lightweight fabrics for a casual shirt or in heavier fabrics for use as a layering piece in place of a sweatshirt or jacket. The pull-on knit pants sewing pattern has a hidden elastic waist and is designed for knits with at least 25% stretch.

Material Notes

PULLOVER FABRIC A: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, broadcloth, poplin, shirting, corduroy, denim; and stretch fabrics like interlock, fleece, and microfleece. PULLOVER FABRIC B: Lightweight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, broadcloth, shirting, and poplin. PANTS: Interlock, jersey, textured knits, lightweight double knits, matte jersey. (The fabric should have at least 25% stretch.)
PULLOVER: Coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing. PANTS: Coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing, 1 yard 3/4" elastic.
