Description

I really like Maryy’s polka dress, so I made one for myself. I bought some adorable red fabric with little white polka dots and made up my own pattern. I’ve been afraid to try buttonholes, but I finally read about it in my sewing book and went for it. Turns out buttonholes aren’t too bad so now I can go button crazy with my projects! This dress buttons down the back and has elastic and darts at the bust to give it some shape.

    This is sooo cute! like it! especially that the buttons go all the way down on back. good for you that you finally made friends with the machines “button hole maker function”!! i learned it recently too and it opened up a whole new brilliant world for me haha

    Love it. i have some polka dot fabric I want to use too and was waiting for a good pattern… might do like you and make my own! I like the button holes too… Buttons are great!
