I finally got around to visiting a shop in Berkeley called Lacis which has all sorts of wonderful things including old embroidered housewares. I chose a pretty pillowcase and turned it into this top. The detailing, which I turned into the neckline, has faded blue thread and I added elastic to give the top some shape. The straps are made from the fabric that I cut away from the bottom. This top will be perfect for all my summer adventures!

Lovely! It turned out really nice, and goes with those shorts well too. You can definitely wear it now with the current weather in Berkeley too!
