Burda Style For people who sew
Description
It’s my favorite cousin’s birthday this week so I made her a dress as a gift. I used a Simplicity pattern from the 70s that I bought at the thrift store. The striped fabric, the zipper, and the buttons were all from the thrift store as well so the dress has an overall old fashioned feel which I am very pleased with. My cousin is going to France soon and I keep imagining her wearing this dress while wandering the beautiful streets of an old French village.
Material Notes
Striped cotton, 18 inch zipper, and two dark blue buttons.

If I had this dress I would want a sailboat to set me off away. Summer is good when you have a light blue stripe summer jumper dress with cute buttons and useful pockets. This looks so effortlessly modern. Love it.
