I prefer a big t-shirt to a nightgown, but I decided to make one anyway. I followed the how to called the eight dollar dress for the smocking on the back. This was my first time using rows of elastic in such a way, so the spacing isn’t perfect, but I still like how it turned out. I made the pattern for the neckline from one of my tank tops and added darts for shape. It’s a fun nightgown, but once the warm weather comes around it will be perfect to throw on after a long day at the pool.
Cotton (with red and blue birds and black dots!), elastic.
