I made these slippers by following an online tutorial. I haven’t done much knitting, but as soon as I read the tutorial I had to go out and buy the yarn to get started. So far I have completed two pairs. For this pair I added some finishing touches that weren’t included in the tutorial, the laces and the leather bottoms. The slippers were slippery so I hand stitched leather paw prints to the bottom (it was hard work! my finger tips hurt from the leather, but it was worth it for the great look). I gave these bear foot slippers to one of my best friends for his birthday and I think he likes them quite a bit.
Check out the tutorial, it’s great! http://blog.craftzine.com/craftprojects/easy_house_slippers/
