I got the idea for this creation from a blouse that I had borrowed from a friend to wear on New Years Eve. I made the pattern for the main part of the top by tracing another tank top and adding on a bit since I wanted it to turn out on the looser side. The straps are made from one long sash which is folded every so often and sewn down. The sash comes together in a bow off to one side. I got the fabric from the White Elephant sale in Oakland, but I’m not sure what it is.
