Description
This blouse is covered in lovely details: the raglan sleeves finish to a beautiful pleated bell, the front princess seams fall away to loosely release, and, of course, the lace inset at the neckline sets off your pretty face. We made ours in a raw silk shantung, but you could also try it in a cotton or crepe.

I really like this one! Very cute, classic and modest. As a short and very curvy 34/38 I find it a bit sad that we smaller ones mostly get “fashion-ish”, very short (“sexy”) and not-very-wearable garments, while the plus-size get lovely, modest and classic-looking coats, dresses and tops, like Nancy, Francesca, to name a couple. Please, Burda, can’t you make something classic for us small ones, too?
It’s a bad idea to grade down so many sizes, Sukino. What I will be doing is to use a basic bodice block that I know fits me, and then tweak that until it somehow resembles the pattern pieces from Francesca. If you simply scale down, you will get problems with the fit in the shoulders and armholse, I think. It might not matter so much with raglan sleeves, though. Good luck anyway.

I love it. But, but…It’s tooooooo big! Tips on scaling down? I think there might be a how to on the website but I’m afraid it might be too challenging for me (novice me). Has anyone scaled it down? Can you upload it?

this look so great! I had been looking forward to this pattern since the teaser came out a few month back. but I am a size 34, and alas! if I shrink the pattern while printing it at 72%, it would be made for someone of 4 feet tall — close, but i am still 11inches taller. nooooooo!
but I look forward to seeing other creations from this pattern! good luck everyone :)

I have size 34/36 as well.I’m thinking to make the same style pattern of my size is easier than scaling it down.So I hope to find some time for this project later.

It will be painful to scale down size 48-60 to size 38/40 simply by drawing parallel lines . I guess the easiest way is to scale print by reducing to certain percentage. But what will be the percentage? Anyone knows?
