Yay for a sewalong! Thank you Rachel and Marie for hosting. I had fun following on and learned lots. Here is my cotton dakota, meant more for summer but can be winterized for texas’ tame winters. I had some serious static cling issues until I wore a slip, but still had fun wearing it around a park and stadium near my hometown.
Pattern notes: Must be printed on A4 or legal sized printer, sparse text only instructins, must trace, aimed more for intermediate sewers as I had a difficult time making the collar BUT all of that is negated by the wonderful sewalong that is incredibly detailed and helpful.
Size: I cut a size 44, the largeest. Armholes were a bit tight but I should have adjusted it first. I also think I’ll use a stretchier fabric next time.
