Front Peplum: Measure the bottom edge of the front bodice piece. For size 44, it’s 10 3/8". Now, we want the top edge of the front peplum to measure 10 3/8" also. The top edge of the front peplum measures 13 1/2". 13 1/2" – 10 3/8" = 3 1/8. Take away the excess from the center of the pattern piece, marking as shown. The straight lines can be slightly farther apart than 3 1/8” at the bottom edge.
