This bag took about two weeks to make, the length of time owing to the fact that I had to sew it by hand. This is actually just a prototype for a leather version I intend to make.
A bit more about this project on my blog
I used two thick cotton sweaters for the main fabric and an old skirt for the lining. The vinyl handle and wooden buckles were taken from a bag that my sister was about to throw out.
What do you think of these summery styles?
