Burda Style For people who sew
Description
It has a sleeves and it’s not a totally lightweight fabric, so for me it qualifies as a winter dress!
Lately I’m strangely attracted to various shades of pink, so it came as no surprise when I came home from the fabric store with this piece. Plaid with a roses on a border – who can resist it? I certainly couldn’t.
This dress is based on a model from Burda 01/2010, with some changes. I added inseam pockets, changed the neckline and the sleeve length, and opted for simple gathered skirt.
I’ve managed to totally complete and fall in love with this dress, only to realize that there’s some issues with it. What I failed to realize in the beginning was the fact that the fabric is very loosely waved, so that if I don’t interface my seams they will start to pull apart after one wear. Which they did. So I did this it in the end and learned a lesson. At least I hope I did :)
Material Notes
I believe it’s viskose, it doesn’t wrinkle at all which is always a huge plus.

savrsena je.. i svidja mi se kako si uklopila dezen napred.. mrzim kad odeca pocne da mi se raspada zato sto je materijal sranje, moja omiljena haljina (takodje od viskoze) se tako raspala posle par nosenja, iako sam obradila ivice

e, hvala ti :) trebala sam da znam šta me čeka, tkanje materijala je meko i retko poput gaze! flizelin je sredio stvar, samo što sam na kraju maltene dva puta sašila jednu haljinu :)
