We didn’t want to plan a big affair, so my husband and I decided to elope on our six-year anniversary.
I wanted to make my own wedding dress, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of time making a classic long, white dress that I wouldn’t be able to wear again. I decided on a more casual style that will be suitable for future events.
I used Deer and Doe’s Belladone pattern and found this gorgeous Oscar de la Renta silk mikado at Mood’s online store. I’m really happy with the result, and it was much easier to make than my husband’s suit!
