I made this to wear to my friends wedding and was pleased with the outcome.
I found the sizing to be very generous on this dress and didn’t need to insert a zip as it can be easily pulled over my head. I did find that the front yoke was VERY narrow so I had to make this deeper so that it didn’t totally disappear into the seams. Also, the instructions for the belt confused me even though this should have been the most simple part (couldn’t work out if it was supposed to be really long with a seam in the middle?), so I just cut it to a length that looked ok to me.
I think this a is a lovely style that is feminine without flashing lots of cleavage and leg! I like it so much I’m now thinking of adapting the pattern to make some tops but with less volume…
