Last weekend, I packed my sewing mashine, overlocker and 16 meters of fabric and took a train to Copenhagen. Four days later, I return home with a lighter suitcase and pictures of these lovely, happy ladies in the most beautiful viking gowns. I’m the one in normal clothes, Louise is in red underdress and green overdress and Ida is in green underdress and red overdress.
Underdresses in medieval “cotehardie” style in 100 % linen. Overdresses in viking “apron” style in thin 100 % wool and brooches made of gold and bronze FIMO.

This is the result of great teamwork. It would not have been possible without the help from Louise and Ida.
100 % linen, 100 % wool, FIMO, 14 buttons, iron-on interfacing, thread
