Made this Azalea dress and without a pattern! I’m pretty pleased with myself:).
I thought the trickiest part would be the gathering thing but the hardest was making the bottom even and the yoke.
And I’m not that pleased with this fabric but neverthelss, it tuned out quite nice:).

I think the fabric you used is pretty. And you did a great job on it, especially without a pattern!

That’s awesome, especially as a ‘first’. Very cute!

Oh wow. This is your first dress? That is mighty impressive! I’ve just made my first dress as well, and it was a Burda Easy! Nothing complicated.

Thanks:). It wasn’t that hard actually, even if it seems so. Just have to think things thru.
But your dress caught my eye before. Looks cool. This fabric really suits with this kind of pattern, brings it more out.
Good luck with your next projects!:)

Flavor of the taste, I guess. But I have now found a store where there are so many beautiful fabrics.. You shall see:D

I like how the inner layer stays closer to your body than the outer layer. You must have cut it quite a bit narrower? And I love the length, too! Looks great on you!

Yes, I cut it narrower. Not on purpose but it’s good when the wind comes:)
