Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I got there in the end with this one! The instructions were not very complete which made it difficult for a novice like me.
I was keen to try this one as I haven’t had got any costumes that still fit me and this seemed like a flattering shape for someone that has given birth!
The body was also a little bit short for me because I am fairly tall so I had to make the strap a little bit shorter to try and stretch it.
Apart from that, I am pleased with the way that it has turned out and am going to try another with a few adaptions.

Beautiful work and it looks wonderful on you. I’ve been dying to make this one myself and you’re inspiring me to give it a go. Very professional job- would never guessed it wasn’t purchased in the swimwear section of a fancy department store.

Looks like you did a great job on it! fabric suits it well. A bathing suit has been my toughest tackle as well when trying to sew items for the wife.
