Description

This is my version of burda’s Danielle pattern, I just left off the sleeves and made it in this funky cotton that started out life as an Ikea cotton single duvet cover. I just loved the material and no longer own a single bed so thought I’d make the most of the material, I am also making Jessica a dress out of the remainder of the material.

I made this dress for my partner Paul’s sister Jeanette’s wedding (20th Feb). I was very happy with this dress it looks good and feels really comfy, I got lots of nice comments on it.

I made this all by myself apart from the fitting of the zip which my mum did.

I am going to make this again I think.
