This bag was actually supposed to be a Christmas gift for my bff, but I kind of didn’t finish it in time. So now it will become a Valentine’s gift/early 20th birthday gift. She’ll forgive me. I’m sure. Firstly, because this bag features her favorite colors: red and pink. Secondly, because it has 4 inner pockets (1 of them with a zipper and 1 of them for a phone), a zipper closure, piping and fabric-covered buttons. Thirdly, because she’s my bff and that’s what friends do.
I’ve used the pattern “no 22 Pleats Shoulder Bag” from “I Think Sew” (www.ithinksew.com), but changed the closure and added piping and inner pockets.
printed and solid cotton for quilting/home dec, white piping, metal zipper (for closure), plastic zipper (for pocket), 2 fabric-covered buttons, iron-on-interfacing
