Description

This summer I was very much into upcycling old clothes! Back home, my mom have attic full of bags of her old clothes and ours hand-me-downs from older cousins. Digging through this at-home-flea-market I came across a pair of pantskirt I was wearing as a teenager (!!!). They were kinda popular here back in the 90’s, and this particular pair was passed down to me from my older sister. Jeez, was I looking ridiculous :) Anyhow, as I was putting them on I immediately knew that I want to turn ‘em into a tiered skirt. The fabric is so nice and flowy, it moves beautifully and it’s ideal for twirling!

I also made a t-shirt, don’t have a before picture but it was a basic cotton tee. I chopped off the sleeves and the collar, to make a more open neckline. Then I made this ruffled sleeves from some matching cotton jersey, and attached an lace application around the neckline.

All in all, I think they turned out cute? Plus It’s always nice to have a few more separates! Hope you like it :)
