Meet my old sewing project! Very casual type Japanese kimono from my home country.
Almost all kimonos we can see are formal, made by fine silk, and beautifully dyed or embroidered. But this one is something like jeans and sweater, made by rough wool with woven pattern, “sporty” short sleeve, no lining and coordinate with narrow Obi-belt.
Trad clothes are not really functional these days, but have so rich culture, we can enjoy and learn a lot from them!
