I came across some flowery fabric that I liked (which is unusual for me) and could not decide what to make with it. I thought that a whole dress would be to over powering so opted to just have the top of a dress in the fabric with plain at the lower part. Then got carried away and made the lining of a jacket to go with the dress in the same fabric and also use some as inserts on the jacket. I made the pattern by adapting an old pattern I had in my collection, think that it works is a strange way.
plain fabric wool mix, flower fabric silk mix
