I made this cloak for the upcoming summer LARPs. I have a bigger and better cloak already, but it’s just to big and heavy to carry around. This little thing weights just under 1 kg and can easialy fit a suitcase!
Made in a thin chocolate-brown wool, interlined with dark brown linen and hood lining in light brown linen. I used Simplicity 3618, but changed the closure. The pattern called for thin satin trim p hold the cloak, but it’s just not enough for LARP. Instead I made a fabric-covered button and a bottonhole-thing as closure.
It was a very easy and quick project, and I will definitely be making more
And sorry for the awful pictures, it was quite windy and it rained when I took the pictures.
Thin wool, medium weight linen, fabric-covered button (a kit from Prym)
