Burda Style For people who sew
Description
After have bought the whole collection of Pattern Magic books here I am with my first project inspired by Stingray dress in Pattern Magic 3. My version is not an exact copy but a variation. It wasn’t so difficult as I would expect. The fabric is leightweight knits.

by the way how did you make the neck lining? I find jersey fabric impossible to make bias tape from and it’s so annoying to work with jersey, how did you do it?

Hi, the neck lining is cut on the lengthwise grain. I love working with knits, it’s such a forgiving fabric.

you should check out the drape drape series. The first was eh (found it at the library) the second was pretty good and now i’m waiting for the 3rd. I made a similar dress for my sister but it was a v neck in the front and back
