The second of the two stretchy, knit blouses I made for my eldest sister (I still do not have proper photos of the first one). I made the pattern myself, based on the Mrs Stylebook sloper and her own ideas of what she wanted it to look like (= wide, gathered neckline, half-length bell sleeves). She wears them all the time… the best thanks I could get.
(It fits her wonderfully, however still, it rides up in the back a bit – do you think there’s a way to fix that in the pattern for future projects?)
It’s more of an early sping/autumn/winter quality – the fabric’s quite thick and she was already hot in it today (it was a very hot day).
Also, it’s handsewn. That’s because I doubted my sewing machine would tackle the knit properly.
knit blend – poly-something (I do not remember anymore), cotton, elastan; rattail cord (probably rayon) gathering the neckline

Well, the normal seams are sewn normally, because it doesn’t have to stretch vertically, or on shoulders (those are actually stabilised with twill tape; I forgot about that when I uploaded it).
So I only got to play with hems. :D But there’s somehow always more hems than I expect at the end of all that sewing…
