I convinced my teenage sister that she should let me sew her a dress for a party to celebrate the end of her exams. She wanted something sexy and fun. I bought the fabric for a steal at $3 a metre and together we drafted this dress pattern using my sister as a human mannequin. I’m not really happy with how the zipper turned out, the fabric was slippery and the zipper is on the side and as sewn to follow the curve of the fabric. The ruffle was a challenge as well as the first attempt was too heavy and weighed the front of the dress down. Despite the challenges my sister loves her dress! and it was a lot of fun making it for her :)
I’m not really sure, I think it is a satin back crepe
