Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Based on Simplicity pattern 2175 w/ some changes & a fba. The pattern is super easy, as a novice it was great to actually make something I will wear.
As much as I love all the frocks on Burda w/ full gathered skirts they do my curvy full figure no favors, so this not too full empire dress works for me & hides my hips! I ♥ rayon for its ease to sew & drape.

Love this! I totally agree with you on the full frocks. Oh, how I dream I could wear them and look small and waif-like. But that’s never gonna happen!
