This is the dress I made for the 40’s inspired challenge. I combined a vintage pattern with a self drafted one. Followed strict “make and mend” principles- was very resoursful and used only vintage sewing techniques. Had LOTS of fun. true time travel. I dedicated this dress to my belated grandmother, and actually acidently (or not) posted on her birthday.
