Description

This is the first garment I ever sew. I recently found it in my wardrobe and knew I had to upload it here.

I made it when I was 15-16. I had some help with attaching the sleeves, otherwise I think I did it all by myself – with a Burda pattern of course!

I used the wrong side of a cotton fabric, since there was a military pattern on the right side.

The pattern is from a 5 year old Burda magazin pattern…

I’m sorry for the bad quality of the photos, I couldn’t find my original photos…

A cotton fabric, buttons, 2 zippers

this looks excellent! i can’t believe you lined your first sewing project.

that sentence looks fine, just add “of”: the wrong side of a cotton fabric. no need for quotations, right and wrong sides are the correct sewing terms for front and back of a fabric :)

Thank you! Me neither, the patience I had back then is unbelievable…

I asked my boyfriend for advice since he lived in England for a while, he thought wrong and right side sounded really strange but I was sure it was correct so I got a little confused when I wrote it :)
