Here’s my latest creation: my first Sewaholic Crescent Skirt !
The only adjustment i did, was taking in the side seams of the waistband 5mm, so that the skirt would sit on my natural waist.
My fabric is beautiful Irish linen, that I found on ebay. For the waistband facing I used quilting cotton, to save as much of the linen as possible. So now I have enough left to make some Sewaholic Thurlow Shorts :)
I top stiched the seams at the waistband to highlight the beautiful construction.
The skirt fits perfectly into my wardrobe because it goes with almost every top. And with tights, boots and a cardigan I can easily wear it into fall and winter.
