I made a scoodie for myself a couple of years ago, and people loved it. So I decided to sew a few of them to sell, and I sold all of them on day one. Last winter I made more scoodies, I chose only three pictures, because the only thing that varies is the fabric. I always tried to use one printed fabric with one plain fabric, this way you can use the “fun” part one day, and the sober part the next day.
It’s really simple to do the pattern yourself, just pick any hood pattern that you like, and then add two rectangles that will form the scarf. The sewing part is also very simple, first thing you should do is sew each hood that you have, and then sew the right sides together. After that sew each pair of rectangles, and attach them to the hood by placing it in the middle of the scarves. Sew all the borders and leave a little cms. to turn the scoodie around. To finish them I sew the open part by hand. As I said in other projects I’m from an Spanish speaking country, so I hope that what I wrote is easy to understand.
Hope you like them as much as I do.
