Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I saw somewhere on the internet a picture of really cute dress with a skirt like this which I really liked, and since at the moment I didn’t have enough of fabric to make the whole dress I settled for the skirt only.
The construction is the same as this skirt I made before, so that was a piece of cake. On the other hand, making this scalloped hem was time consuming and definitely not the most joyful sewing experience of all times, but I did endured through :)
I really love the end result! I feel kinda sweet and girly when I wear it, and that must be a good thing :)

Material Notes
It’s made of viskoze, one of my favorite fabrics to work with. It’s light and it drapes beautifully, and for me that is enough to compensate the fact that it wrinkles by merely looking at it. There is also a hidden zipper in the back.
