Adapted from the 8125C Layla apron, this was made for my Mum for Christmas – yet to hear what she thinks of it but I am really happy with the result.
I made the apron wider by moving the pattern away from the fold, made it short (cos Mum is shorter and wider than most) and gave the bottom curved edges as I thought that would look really nice.
Blue striped cotton fabric that I picked up quite cheaply and that I also used for the dog bed cover http://www.burdastyle.com/creations/show/16180 The ties, neck strap and bias used all the way round were made from the same fabric

Love the wording on your apron – I could do with that in my kitchen. I hope your mum liked it.
