Kuala Lumpur, Ma...
This is our final year farewell dinner. The theme was ‘“Star at Wars”. So everyone have to dress up as in the movie character. I was assigned with my classmate Paan and we choose Alice In Wonderland movie. I’m the Queen of Heart and he is the Mad Hatter.
For the queen of heart, I sew the cape using black and red fabric. At first i want to lift up the collar, but as you can see i failed to do it. I don’t know how to do it. On the black side, I just use shiny red paper that i cut into heat shapes and paste it using double sided tape.LOL!! The black dress and stripe pant/legging are from my collection.I also make the wand using the shiny paper, the stick is from my leftover balsa wood/stick from modelling materials. I did buy the crown though… and i do my own make up yay!! >.<
For the Mad Hatter costume, he made himself the hat using elephant/model board. He sprayed with golden colour and glued some lace from table cloth (buy at a warehouse for super cheap price). The red fabric around the hat is leftover from my cape. While the tops and bottom are from his own collection. He just put the same lace as the hat inside the sleeve all over the vest and pant. Large bow is from my fabric collection, he just fold and tied them because I did’t allow him to cut it.. the fabric is for my upcoming bag or pencil case.
