This started out as a plain rubber jacket that I bought in Atlanta for $14 in 1998. Since then, it has taken many forms and this is the final. I am nearly 25 years old, and I can’t justify dressing like an idiot (even a really cool-looking one) anymore. The sides are corseted. The graffiti says “Free Steve Chung” which is such a nerdy comic reference that I wouldn’t ever expect anyone to get that. Anyway, enjoy the pics.
Rubber jacket base; hand-covered buttons of self fabric; red spray paint; steel grommets, spikes, studs and screws; cotton twine and thread.
All the things in this world that pissed me off enough to mutilate this jacket.
