Hello burda lovers!. This is my second burda project… so I’m sharing it with the world hehehe.
I made this hybrid top… of maryy dress and afternoon tea top…
I had this cotton plaid fabric that I didn’t really like but somehow I found it a few days ago and I imagined a design so I had the idea of making a hybrid of those burda free patterns :D
making it took me about 3:30 hrs.. which isnt a lot of time…
it was interesting and very fun!!! :D and easy!!!! People must do this! its fun and you’ll get wonderful results :D
I did some zigzags seams to make it a bit more interesting :D and I added 2 red buttons on the front and a red zip on the back.
the fabric is very soft which I like a lot and I think looks so much better than what It used to.
I’m thinking about doing another top like this again… I can’t wait :D
I think its perfect for this last days of spring and hopefully will be awesome for summer!
I really want to thank all the people who share free patterns here on burda…. because without them projects like this wouldnt be possible. :D}
and I think sharing your projects with Burda makes other people creativity to explore different sides and hopefully you’ll get enough motivation to make a similar project with your own touch of creativity.
ps: to make the pleated trim follow this link : http://www.burdastyle.com/techniques/make-a-pleated-trim
