This is my take on the JJ Shirt. It is made from a very fine pale pink cotton with gold foil pattern. I have used gold buttons as well. I found the instruction for the pattern less clear than I would expect – I normally use Vogue patterns and find their instructions give better detail and include images.

Hey there, I think this blouse is absolutely lovely! I’m trying to make it myself but I’m lost already. Would you be willing for me to run some questions by you?

Hey – sorry I haven’t been online for a while. I’ll certainly try to answer your questions but I found placing questions in the discussion forum especially helpful as there are a number of members who are expert experienced sewers who can help.

How lovely! I think ruffled blouses are some of the classiest things to wear.
Happy sewing!

I love your fabric! And I have to agree about the specification of instructions. I usually just wing it.
