Description

Before Mad Men returned to our screens in March, there were several sewing challenges set up. This dress was one of my responses to them. This is based off of a plaid dress that Peggy wears during season 3. To help me re-create this look I used an undated Butterick 9973, which gave me the silhouette that I needed, I then added the bow on myself.
The material used is a 1950’s rayon in a really lovely mix of colours.

This is lovely – great addition of the bow – makes it really cute and not too officey!
