my own tie-necked blouse

Chatham, New Jer...

Even though I’m not the typical tie-neck blouse wearer I was inspired by some of my sewing friends with whom I went fabric shopping a couple of months ago. I bought this beautiful fabric from Gerry Weber and now needed to find a good pattern. I decided to sew pattern 128B from Burda 10/2011. It was easily done and now I’m the proud owner of a tie-necked blouse which I like to wear even though it is a synthetic fabric.

Thank you very much! You should not be terriefied about zippers and buttons… but yes, there are many patterns without all these things!

This blouse suits you so well, and you look nice with the tie-neck and it’s perfectly sewn as usual :) – the fabric is lovely too:-)
