Description

I came across this printed fabric in my sewing room and thought it would make a nice shift dress, so I lined it with an orange satin to draw out the warm colour of the chiffon fabric.

ooh, i love how you combined the two fabrics so the colours of the chiffon stand out, and that print really IS gorgeous! can’t believe how you can make this kind of perfectly fitted dress out of chiffon, your sewing is so neat (if it were me, the chiffon will just crinkle up in all the wrong places). way to go! :)

Now that is a nice thing to say. The secret is to tac the chiffon to the satin, lay pattern on top and cut out as one, then sew as one as well, this helps the chiffon from moving :0)
