Tessuti’s New York Cape pattern
Check wool (Marc Jacobs?) from The Fabric Store
Buttons and binding from Tessuti Fabrics
I made a few alterations. First of all my copy of the pattern is slightly smaller than the original (because i’m a shorty). I also shortened the cape by about 5 inches.
The pattern calls for 2m of fabric, i had only 1.5m and played around with the pattern until i could find a way of cutting it out and matching the check as much as i could.
Instead of buttonholes i used large snaps then sewed the buttons onto the front.
Wool, wool binding, snaps, buttons, poly/cotton binding

Absolutely fantastic! The length looks perfect too, and I love the idea of snap buttons; I’m going to give that a go!
