Newton Le Willow...
I am going back to work after my maternity leave and thought I’d make a new bag to use. It is quite a size as I need to carry a file, water-proof clothing, my dinner etc.
To make it unique I have added a subtle embroidered plane and my initials, you can only really see it up close as it is in red thread.
I work at the airport, hence the plane design.
I did the embroidery with my straight stitch machine.
This was just a bit of material my nan had given me and I decided to make the bag using it. I made it up as I went along. All the seams are on the outside.
Velcro closure, Elastic section for pens under flap too.
The line of 7 circles are badges I added.
Material my nan gave me.
Nan for the Material
Me for the embroidery idea and design.
