The dresses (both of them) are awesome! And the fabric is very bold and beaultiful.

I saw the answer at the instructions page. It looks better with the V shape you made. Congrats!! also… have you got a sewing machine tatoo on your back? awsome!

Very nice! Shortening it has worked really well. Love the covered button detail too

Thanks!!! If anything it was a little bit too short so I’ve lined it since taking the photos!

Congratulations, it fits just right. When I first saw the photo, I wondered how you managed to seam the curves so well! Cordially, Nehmah

Hi! Thanks… the seams were a bit tricky especially after re drafting. I just cut them really close and then ironed it all flat before zig zagging it. The it turned it out and ironed it again!

Thank IKEA! – the fabric is great to work with too… soft but with really good structure! They have heaps of these monochrome designs!

The lines and edges are lovely, like a design project unto themselves.. and in dress form! wonderful (I especially like the view from the last photo!)

The grey/black and white version is the prototype which I made exactly to the Burda pattern minus the sleeves.
